'America's Next Top Model': No more Clay-ah

07:52 AM PT, Apr 3 2008

Antm Poor Claire.  Not many "Top Model" contestants experience the minor lift and the major fall as quickly as she did.  What happened?  At the beginning of the cycle she was Tyra's golden girl, edgy, personable, and perhaps most valuable, able to pull off an extreme haircut.  But the last couple weeks of the competition she fell apart dramatically. In her previous photo shoot, she failed to emulate country music, and in this one, she got on Mr. Jay's bad side by literally diving head-first into her watery shoot, causing herself some injury and a delay in the proceedings.  Perhaps, coincidentally, the downfall coincided with some less graceful aspects of her personality captured by the cameras; for instance, declaring that the reason she was good friends with Whitney and Lauren was because they all disliked Dominique together (but how quickly the worm turns, as Lauren as well as Stacy-Ann started complaining about Claire off-camera.)  Some of the girls didn't care for Claire's joyous reaction at the end of last week's episode that Aimee, not she, would be going home, and during the go-sees, some of the bookers declared that she had too much personality (maybe she should have given some to Katarzyna, who has done nothing wrong this cycle except fail to be ingratiating and obnoxious.)

Even with the absence of Claire, the bickering obviously won't stop as the cycle continues.  Lauren, in a frightening display, went off her rocker on Fatima last night and Dominique continued to declare that Whitney, along with everyone else on the planet, was intimidated by her can-do attitude. At this rate, the Top Model crown should go to Katarzyna, as she's the only model thus far who has demonstrated that she can get along with anyone.

It's all about Fatima anyway! She's so beautiful and poised. What was the excuse for keeping 'Frankenstein'? Oh, she'll learn to walk, mature or something? Yeah, right. She's gone next week, bet.

I think Stacy Ann has a good chance of winning. She's so damn polite. It wouldn't hurt a lot of these girls to follow suit. Will it make for great TV? Doubtful, but I would be less annoyed. And please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD could they stop reading Tyra Mail in unison? It drives me EFFING NUTS!!!

Katarzyna should be the winner! She's the most beautiful one there, she's an ivy league girl, AND has the best walk! HANDS DOWN, Katarzyna!

what's up with all the freaking screaming?? annoying!!!
so sad to see claire go. i think she is more modelesque than lauren.

I agree that Katarzyna has major talent, but not showing enough of her personality will hurt her if she doesn't stand out to the judges. The judges are actually looking for true high-fashion potential despite the ridiculous and dramatic aspects of the show that need to fill-in one hour, and satisfy the general public.

i think claire so should have stayed and lauren should have left. ya, lauren takes great pictures but off-camera she is this zombie without any confidence or personality to shine infront of the judges. claire was different, unique, her pictures were good, and she won so many challenges. she was pleasing on/off camera.
i think they secretly have an idea who is going to win from day one, but keep in the typical stereotypes for "good tv". they always have the weird girl (in the past it was heather, now lauren), the rude girl that everyone watches because they hate so much (bianca, dominique), and the quiet simple wall flowers .
they just kept lauren in because they know her anger will get the best of her one of these episodes and make for some great entertainment.
kataryzna or anya are the best in terms of looks and pictures with their personality. they might not be strong in all these areas, but they are the nicest and easiest to get along with.
fatima is gorgeous and seems to want this the most, but she really isn't that good at taking pictures.
dominique is so weird, i feel bad for her sometimes, but her crazy bleached eyebrows and the way she talks about herself is annoying.

whitney is gorgeous, good pictures, but she does havea n attitude problem. i think she just likes to defend herself and stick up for people, even if she doesnt care to much, as long as she comes across as strong.

the way tyra shows off every week with posing at judging is so annoying.

nigel barker is too gorgeous for words.

is ms jay, a cross dresser, a hermaphrodite, or gay?

god, if i was as gorgeous and perfect body as these girls, i would be working alot harder. alot of these pictures involve acting the role of their character, and they need to practice that. also , they should practice taking pictures on their own at home, and see what their best features and poses are.

god-jaslene is in like every few episodes. im guessing her career isn't that hot any more so she fills in for tyra whenever she can.

how did they raise awareness for homeless people? by making them dress up poor, and makng the homeless people dress up rich? yea that really worked, bc at th end of the day, they had to go back in their rags and have felt special just for that minute. how sweet t must have felt for them to see these gorgeous welll off girls with this big makeup hair crew throwing hundreds of dollars to get a good photo.

Get rid of Fatima! Hate that Claire is gone - she was my favorite!

The girls who where chosen on 03/29-08 in Los Angeles have they got a call back by now.??
