My question is for simon, why is he so hard on carly, she has has an amazing voice, may be he does not like the Irish. I think he should get off his ego trip.

I just don't love anybody this season. I like Sayesha, Carly and Brooke. But they are all inconsistent. David Cook is solid. But he is the best of a bad lot. There has been barely a breakout performance. I think it has been a lackluster season and like me Simon is just bored.

I don't think you're watching the same shows as everyone else. Breakout performances? How about Brooke White's "Let it Be"? Or David Archuleta's "Imagine"? Or Chikezie's "She's A Woman"? Or Jason Castro's "Hallelujah:"? Or David Cook's "Hello"? Or Michael Johns's "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions"? Let's not forget Syesha singing "Chain of Fools" during Hollywood Week, the only performance she has given so far that has blown everyone away.

1st Tiki must be in another universe, the contestants this year are soo talanted and each in their own origanal way. 2nd why don't they tell us the actual votes each contestant get, because we would know what they know and that would be who every week gets the most votes and the idol winner would not be a supprise. Last if jason Castro makes it through another week something very wrong is going on, don't get me wrong I like his style but really he is not a world class performer. I just wish everyone that voted really voted for the most talented and stage precence instead of whos the cutest.

I am glad that Jason was voted off. I think he was also glad. David A. has a good voice, but he lacks stage presence and maturity which is not his fault, but he is not idol-ready. David and Syesha are tied in my mind but their talents and traits are totally different. Last year, I was totally sold on Jordan Sparks, so the last few weeks were just about my hoping that SHE would win. I would like to see this competition come down to David C. and Syesha because THAT would be a competition. Ever since Andrew Lloyd Weber inspired Syesha, she has come into her own. People are saying that she would be good on Broadway and are implying that Broadway material excludes idolatry. She is actually the only one in the bunch who has shouldered much criticism, has tried her hardest to improve, and who truly has a solid voice.

HMM I am totally amazed that the Syesha is still there never seen one who is so full of ones self as she is and she should of been gone weeks ago . Now which David to win they are both great..the young David is great vocals and the Mr.Cook is a rooker.......hmm which cd would u buy

David Archeletta is gonna win american idol! He blew David C out of the water lastnight! All i gotta say is if it's the other way around fox better be ready for an upset america. David A has had it won from day one!

Well, America is not upset, Amber, if you've looked at all the messages on the internet this morning. Both of these guys are great. David A got the car and the recording contract too and we will be hearing a lot from this incredible singer. I am, for one of many, thrilled that David Cook won. It's about time that a rocker won on the show. He was so shocked. He said this morning on to a Tulsa reporter that he expected David A to win so that when Ryan said "Cook", he still heard Archuleta. He still can't believe it and hasn't been to sleep yet. He was being hustled from one reporter to the next and will make the rounds of all the talk shows before he can get a little rest before the Idol tour begins. I just wish that the two could have shared the title because you could tell little David really, really wanted it, but he was so gracious when he came in second. He kept smiling and hugging David C, a nd C returned it keeping his arm around Archie when ever he was around him. Another thing Cook said this morning was that it was absolutely incredible sharing the stage with this young kid. He said that Archuleta was awesome. Both men were touted by all as kind, nice, sweet, and deserving of the prize.

bnk: Leonard Cohen wrote the song, but Jeff Buckley made it famous. He rewrote the last two versus which are just awesome. Cohen's not really a singer and most young people don't like to hear him sing. However, Jon Bon Jovi did a great job with this song. You can hear many versions of it on you tube - even Jason Castro's is still there. I think Jason did the best job with this song then any other he sang all season. I sure liked that kid but he himself said he wasn't as ready as he thought he was for all the attention and the toughness of the weekly competition.
