WGA, East, announces this week’s picket lines

The Writers Guild of America, East, has announced picket sites for this week. According to the press release: On Tuesday, members will be picketing the Battery Park/Financial District area ‘since the media conglomerates keep boasting of their new media profits to shareholders while simultaneously crying poverty to writers.’
On Wednesday, they’ll ‘demand Disney recognize their work, which is generating increasing sales, especially on the Internet’ by picketing at the World of Disney on Fifth Avenue.
Picket times are set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
