Just when all hope seemed lost that striking Writers Guild members would move beyond their same old chants, we came across picketers outside the set of "Desperate Housewives" and this little ditty, set to the persistently catchy tune of "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse: "They tried to make me do a rewrite, but I said, No! No! No!"
Earlier in the day, there was another original, discovered outside Prospect Studios in Los Feliz: "Webcast, DVD: You can't have it, not for free."
If you've got a suggestion for a chant, let's hear it.

Over at CBS Radford, they had a great one going...

Oh, I've got some GREAT chants...but I'm not GIVING them away.
Hell, I'm not even in the Guild yet, so if I wrote one, wouldn't that make me a scab?

The writers are whiners, networks are crooks
Now turn off the TV and start reading books.
