A press release sent out earlier this week touted a new show on Time Warner Network called -- believe it or not -- ‘Scabs.’

Originally set to debut Saturday, it’s described as ‘a show about two people whose lives didn’t pan out as they had hoped and seek out companies with employees striking to find jobs as line-crossing scabs.’ The show had been in production since April and it was sheer coincidence that it was set to arrive before audiences in the midst of the current strike.

“We’re anxious to see if the current scenario helps or hurts us,” executive producer Adrian Martinez was quoted as saying in the press release. “Reviews have been great, but it’s a sensitive issue for others at the same time.”

Well, four days into the current work stoppage, Martinez had a change of heart. The show has been pulled, Martinez said, because it would be in poor taste to unveil the sitcom in the current climate.

‘We just didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes ... why take a chance?’ he said.

Here’s a look at the status of your favorite TV shows in the wake of the strike.
