Nicole Yorkin, an executive producer on FX’s "The Riches," was in a frantic spin Thursday. She said she and the writing staff were rushing to write final scenes for the seven completed scripts of the drama’s second season, deal with network and studio notes on the final drafts of episodes 5, 6 and 7, and make casting choices, all before day’s end.

"Oh, and we’ve been told by our strike captains to clear out our offices today," Yorkin said.

Adding to the frenzy was the fact that she was trying to finish everything before 5 p.m. so that she could make the trek from the show’s Santa Clarita offices to the rally downtown tonight.

"It is a little crazy today," Yorkin said.
