'Gossip Girl' gets a full season

01:06 PM PT, Oct 9 2007

Gossipgirl Major dish: the Serena-Blair catfight won’t be ending any time soon. “Gossip Girl,” the deliciously soapy drama about Upper East Side teen socialites, has been granted a full season order by the honchos at the CW.

“People everywhere are talking about 'Gossip Girl,’ and we believe this show will continue to build audience as it builds buzz,” Dawn Ostroff, the network’s president of entertainment, said in a statement today.

Translation: while the show’s first three episodes averaged only 3 million viewers in its Wednesday time slot, executives have been heartened by the number of teens and young women tuning in, especially when DVR viewership is factored in.

You know what the buzz is? This show is terrible, I wonder if it will get any better. That is why people keep watching curiosity of improvement in quality. Hopefully new co-ep and writer, Felicia Henderson can come in and save it. I will watch just to find out. But so far, this is the worst new show on the fall schedule and I've seen Journeyman.

I think the show does a great job! I've read all the books and can't wait to see new episodes! But one question... Where is V?

THIS SHOW IS AMAZING AND BRILLIANT AND WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL AND I'M OBSESSED. I LOVE IT. EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH IT DESERVES AN AWARD = )
