Oprah helps give away KFC grilled chicken
The feathers are still flying in the chicken wars, this time with Oprah's help.
The talk-show host and KFC have teamed up on a offer for free grilled chicken. Today and tomorrow you can download a coupon from unthinKFC.comfor two pieces of grilled chicken, two sides and a biscuit. The coupon is redeemable at participating KFC restaurants until May 19 (excluding May 10, Mother's Day). You might have trouble downloading the coupon because of heavy traffic at the site.
It's a combination of Oprah's famous giveaway schtick (of KFC's KGC, she said today: "We scored a hookup for every person in America...") and the promotional machine of the former Kentucky Fried Chicken as the chain hypes the introduction of its grilled chicken.
Last week, KFC and El Pollo Loco staged dueling chicken hand-outs for grilling aficionados. For vegetarians, nothing.

I know of a few ppl that can't get the coupon at all. My mother said they had spyware attacks after trying to get it. Would be nice if they offered what they are promoting, without problems.

Thank you so much Oprah But KFC stop giving out the meals so they must dont have faith in YOUR PAYMENTS. I went to 3 KFC's and they told me to come back at 10:30am TOMORROW does that make any since that's too early in the morning. I want to eat a meal for dinner or lunch but not for breakfast are you crazy FKC? This is the end for me no more KFC! Dont tell people to download coupons for a free B &,,you can not hold up to it! Bad Bad KFC........Let world know you can not do something as big as this next time without having kids looking down at the ground because this coupon is a joke!!!

Dr. Love, that might be because they're sold out? I redeemed a coupon tonight, but I had to sit in line for like 30 minutes or so because they were so busy. My mom used to run a restaurant and sometimes when they had big specials going on, they would eventually run out of supplies and have to tell people to come back the following day. :)

Before you go get your free KFC Grilled Chicken, think twice and read the ingredients. Wanna know whats in that marinade? MSG! Not to mention that they are toting this around as a lowfat alternative, not so much! Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oils are trans fats!
