Cyber Monday kicks off with discounts

December 1, 2008 | 12:10 pm

In case you didn't get all your shopping done over the four-day weekend, Cyber Monday -- online retailers' answer to Black Friday -- gets going today with the usual free shipping offers and Web-only specials. Cyber Monday, the first Monday after Thanksgiving, marks the traditional start of the online holiday shopping season as workers get in a little retail therapy while bosses have their backs turned.

If you want to join the virtual crowds, retailers such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Overstock.com are offering Cyber Monday deals. Other specials we spotted include free shipping on orders of $49 or more and 10% to 50% off tools at Sears; up to 60% off on toys and games at KB Toys; and 25% off watches at Kmart.

Check out more Cyber Monday deals here.

Gap.com and Sweet16finds.com also has free shipping on Cyber Monday.

I just found a great web site for unique & original Jewelry. it's based in Palm Beach, Florida & the jewelry is like no other. The web site is SeascapesByLisa.com. She has the most amazing Hand-painted Jewelry. It so beautiful & her prices are beyond reasonable. I just bought 4 necklaces for my nieces in college. They're going to love them. Check out the web site....You won't be disappointed.
