Stocking stuffer: Free Dr. Pepper

11:07 AM PT, Nov 23 2008

Free Dr Pepper Today (Sunday) only! Dr. Pepper is making good on its promise to give everyone a free Dr. Pepper if Guns 'N Roses came out with an album this year. "Chinese Democracy" came out today, so grab your free soda — if you can.

To get your coupon for a free pop, you have to register at www.drpepper.com. The coupon is good for a free "single serve" (that's a 16 oz., 20 oz., or 21 oz.) soda and is valid until the end of February 2009.  Last we checked, the website seemed to be down (maybe because of a flood of traffic?). No word yet on whether they'll extend the promotion....
