Black Friday: Text for prizes in giving spree

Cellphones can come in handy at the mall for finding your shopping mate when you get separated and comparing prices on the Web. On Black Friday, you'll also be able to use your phone to text for prizes at more than 150 malls nationwide.

The Northridge Fashion Center, Glendale Galleria and the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside are among those participating. Signs throughout the mall will tell you the specific code for that shopping center. Text the code 22700 to find out if you are a winner. What can you win? Each mall will be giving away an Acer Aspire ONE Netbook computer.

But let's say you don't want to go to the mall on Black Friday. Still want to try to win a computer? You can call (866) 587-1579 and enter the code of your local mall and your home phone number. A complete list of participating malls and their codes is available here, but if you're lazy, here are a few: Northridge (91324), Glendale (91210) and Tyler (92503).
