Here are the missing reports from Monday's weather page

A portion of Monday's weather page was obscured by an advertisement. The complete graphic -- which includes the "surf and sea" report, precipitation data and the California cities list -- appears below. Click on the graphic to view it larger.

This is one of the problems with overlaying ads on top of editorial. Sometimes, mistakes occur, and it's inevitably at the cost of editorial. Overlaying ads is a bad idea, and should be discontinued. Too bad the 99cent store doesn't realize that I dislike their store even more (if that's possible) as a result of those overlying ads (and will dislike any company that agrees to put its ads overlying the weather page). Bad idea, get rid of it.
