Patrick Day, Associate Editor, latimes.com/entertainment

Patrick will manage day-to-day editorial coverage on latimes.com/entertainment and the Envelope.com, guiding and shaping the flow of straight-to-internet content as well as serving as primary editor shaping the coverage for the Webscout blog and the signature awards blogs Gold Derby, Notes on a Season and newly launched Feinberg Files. He will work in concert with print editor Elena Howe in shaping the Envelope’s overall editorial content for the season. Patrick attended USC, where he majored in film and English and began working at latimes.com the month before he graduated in 2000 as a three-day-a-week temp.

Rebecca Snavely, Producer, The Envelope.com

Rebecca will be in charge of the site’s daily production. She will also take the lead on planning for awards credentials and film festivals, and working with studios to line up exclusives and collect material that complement our stories. Before joining latimes.com last year as an associate producer, Rebecca worked in the film industry on the crew of such films as ‘What Women Want,’ ‘Legally Blonde 2’ and the indie ‘The Singing Detective.’ She also spent months living in war torn Kosovo working on a documentary about conditions there.
