Brad Turner joins crew covering Lakers

I am pleased to announce that Sports has a new member of our Lakers’ team.

Brad Turner, who has been competing with our Lakers reporters, Mike Bresnahan, Mark Heisler, the Kamenetzky brothers and others, while working for the Riverside Press-Enterprise, joined us Monday, the opening day of NBA training camps.

Brad is a Pasadena native who attended San Diego State and then worked for the Bakersfield Californian, the Press-Enterprise, and the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. There is little in Southern California sports he hasn’t covered, focusing in recent years on the local NBA teams. He also has covered the Angels, Dodgers, USC and UCLA, giving us a hard time all along the way with his work ethic, contacts and news instincts.

We are very pleased to have him on our side.
