Eric Sondheimer wins best-columnist award

June 6, 2008 | 10:22 am

Executive Editor John Arthur's announcement to staff:

Congrats to Eric Sondheimer, selected by the California Prep Sports Writers Assn. as the best columnist in papers of circulation 100,000 and above for the second consecutive year.

Eric is one of the hardest-working people at the paper and is a legendary chronicler of prep sports in the Southland. I'm proud to say I helped bring him to the Valley Edition in the 1990s.

Way to go Eric!

John A, on behalf of Russ and Davan.
