The George Bush-Sarah Palin connection
Countdown to Crawford set out to find out how many times President Bush has crossed paths with Alaska's Gov. Sarah Palin, tapped Friday by Republican John McCain to be his vice president.
As near as we can figure out -- and we stand ready to be corrected -- Palin, who was elected governor in 2006, has encountered the president maybe four times.
The first time was at the White House at a state dinner for the nation's governors on Feb. 25, 2007. She and her husband, Todd, attended.
The second time was the next evening, when the president went to the historic Building Museum to attend the Republican Governors Assn. gala dinner. In his remarks, he even mentioned her by name as he welcomed new governors to the fold.
The third time was the Republican Governors Assn. gala this year. And the final occasion was on Aug. 4 when Bush -- en route to Asia and the Olympic Games in Beijing -- stopped at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska to visit with the troops. The governor is pictured here with her husband next to the state's senior senator, Ted Stevens and his wife, just after his indictment for filing false financial disclosure statements.
But surely there must be more path-crossings out there. Sightings anyone?

You have got to be kidding. This was billed as the Bush Palin connection. Three obligatory functions and greeting a sitting president during a brief visit to the troops in her state. This is all you have, and you try to make it out like some sort of conspiracy.

I'm insulted that McCain thinks hat because he picks a woman, any woman, Hillary supporters are going to vote for him. How dare he?
What makes it worse is that on his first executive decision McCain put politics first, there is no way that Palin is the best choice the GOP has for a VP. More so when we are talking about the eldest presidential candidate, the decision is reckless and sad.

Palin is the side show of this election... Like AGNEW in 1968 he was a relative-nobody that distracted the press and changed the focus from the real issues:
- ECONOMY - JOBS - HOMES
-McCAIN CONTINUING FAILED BUSH POLICY
- US ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

I bet Joe Biden has more "contacts" with photos with the current President. Obama also. Obama & Biden must have a conspiracy with Bush.

What's the big deal if she knows President Bush or not? It's better for her to know President Bush than to know the criminals associated with Obama. Sarah Palin is a breath of morality and convictions that is highly rear in Washington. If anything, she is too good for the job. Way to go Senator McCain for choosing her. It shows character and a love for the future of this country.

I just want to make it clear that I'm not the same Audrey Flowers who posted the above blog. Even though the name is the same, the opinion is very different. I am under no terms a supporter of Sarah Palin. I want it known that this Audrey Flowers is a supporter of BARACK OBAMA and BIDEN.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
