Umm, Russia, about those missing Humvees...
Maybe the Russians can help President Bush cut into the federal deficit?
When they moved into Georgia earlier this month, Russian soldiers confiscated five U.S. Humvees that were being shipped to the Georgian military as part of an American training program. They were apparently taken at a port awaiting shipment inland.
Most of the U.S. military trainers in Georgia were Marines, and Gen. James T. Conway, the commandant of the Marine Corps, was asked at a Pentagon news conference Wednesday what he intended to do about the Russian capture.
"I think we're going to send the Russians a bill and tell them, you know, 'Either pay up or give us back our vehicles, guys,'" Conway said.
Total value? About $540,000.

We can just ask nicely and see if they are returned - w no additional miles.
If not, we can borrow some stuff from the Russians, like maybe their Black Sea fleet. We'll keep that in a safe place at the bottom of the ocean (nuclear parts removed of course).
Stupid bear. The bear hunter had lost interest in that animal, but now you've annoyed him.

Maybe Russia should ask for Kalashnikov guns when US soldiers confiscated them in Afghanistan and Iraq.

then pay all the expenses Russia incured while helping Amreica in its war for Independance. By the way, Russia was the only country which helped.

Heh. :) Reading comments I was surprised by a phenomenon we are encountering in all countries around the world now. Namely. A lot of RUSSIAN comments, often posing as locals. Looks as if whole population of Russia would be paid to sit all day in front of their keyboards and type arrogant Heil-Putin! type of comments in any site that somehow mentions Rusia, to propagate their point of view. Some conspiracy theorist guys say there are special KGB divisions which are waging information war this way. Sometimes that even might begin looking true. :))

Russia undoubtedly will pay for them, just to laugh.

According to info that I've heard Georgian forces used these humvees in combat. So, is USA sponsoring military actions against Russian peacekeepers? I think Russians should stress on this subject more :)
