Dick Cheney gets carded at polling place
Vice President Dick Cheney got carded. Not for drinking but for voting.
It happened at the Teton County clerk's office Thursday in Wyoming, when the vice president, accompanied by his wife and a Secret Service detail, dropped in unexpectedly to cast an absentee ballot in next Tuesday's primary election.
An election worker, Mike Farady, asked the vice president for his driver's license.
"The reason is we are supposed to confirm identity with a photo ID and it also helps confirm residency and that was the easiest way to do it," Farady told the Jackson Hole News & Guide. "I know he is the vice president and I know he can vote, but I wanted to make sure he can vote here and now."
Others hanging around the clerk's office were delighted at the exchange.
"I was sitting here and saw the Secret Service come in," said fellow voter Bob Grady. "Isn't that a great thing about the United States of America? That you can be filling in your ballot and the vice president comes in and votes next to you?"

Gag. If the vice president came in and voted next to me, I'd throw up in my mouth, or maybe on him.

Carded? Cheney and his wife both should have been isssued arrest warrants and sent to Guantanamo for interrogation.

The real news here is that Cheney is voting. He didn't used to bother to vote before he became Vice President. But, then, he didn't pretend to be an 'inhabitant' of Wyoming in those days either.

Which circle of hell did his license show Cheney to be living in?

Was he carrying his hunting rifle? If so, better warn anyone within a thrity mile radius he out and lookin for game, or anyone else he can shoot at.

The article didn't say if he showed his ID! Why here in VA, if you are a Good ole Boy, member of the Good Ole Party, you don't have to show ID, at any of the places you vote.

Did y'all know that Cheney's stocks in Halliburton have increased over 3,000% in value since he became vice president?
Here's another bit of information compiled by Brad Delong/Professor of Economics at UC Berkley:
1946-1976
per capita net income up 90%
average income of bottom 90% of Americans rose 83%
average income of top 1% of Americans rose 20%
1976-2006
per capita net income rose 64%
average income of bottom 90% of Americans rose 10%
average income of top 1% of Americans rose 232%
Bush/Cheney/McCain have done all they can, and McCain is still working hard, to protect that top 1% and make sure that they continue to pay as little tax as possible. Also, according to the report released by the Government Accountability Office on Tuesday, two thirds of American and American based foreign corporations paid no tax at all last year. Big business spends billions of dollars to fund re-election campaigns for our elected officials and in return they get all those lovely tax loop holes and tax exemptions and tax credits---i.e. several billion for big oil which also is making record profits. Obama doesn't take any money from federally registered lobbyists or PACs and his plans are aimed at putting the tax structure back in balance. The top 1% of wealthy Americans have an accumulated wealth of $19 trillion dollars. The other 99% of three hundred million Americans have an accumulated wealth of $17 trillion dollars. Vote for McCain and things will stay the same. Vote for Obama and things will begin to change. Haven't we had enough of this by now? You don't have to believe these figures to be convinced. Look at your life. If you make less than $250,000, Obama's plan will not increase ANY tax of any kind for you including investments and all else. But the wealthiest top 1-5% of Americans will start paying somewhat more tax. Warren Buffet says that it's ridiculous that his secretary pays a higher effective tax rate then he does. Vote Smart.

They should have arrested him for war crimes

Well of course, karela, but the dittoheads - lalalalala - can't hear you. They are too busy worrying about the influence of "San Francisco Liberals" and the lavish lifestyles of people on welfare to notice how the Social-Darwinistic attitudes of the rich and entitled have been enshrined and subsizided via public policy. Aren't we all tired of paying more than our fair share so that the likes of Paris Hilton can pay less?

Is it just this photo, or is Big Dick walking strangely, and holding his left arm very stiff? He's almost unrecognizable.
He had a serious blood clot less than a year ago.

I say we rendition that election worker. He obviously has his sights set on Cheney. Could it be any more obvious? I'm citing the following to back what i said up.
That election worker has something nefarious going on in his mind! [Musk:08.16.08]

No, Bob Grady, there are better things about America. Even the mightiest are subject to the rule of law. We respect human rights, even for those accused (or not accused) of crimes. We allow citizens to monitor how the government works, to whom it gives money and contracts and hold politicians accountable. We don't start unprovoked wars.
Sadly, we seem to have lost these attributes.

They carded him just for show, to give the misimpression that voter ID is fairly applied and not intended to disenfranchise likely Democrats.

No attacks since 9/11, everyone's taxes were lowered, economic cycles are unavoidable (read some history), yet the liberals just keep spewing hate.
Bush has faced problems far more serious than any president in recent history, and despite the fact that most countries in the world are too afraid or weak to help us deal with Islamic efforts to disrupt and attack western nations, his administration has done what most real Americans with a clue expect -- protect and defend the USA.
Hateful liberals are simply a product of a left-leaning education system, who are blinded by their hate for successful people.
