Bush White House: Love is in the air

They met on the job, toiling long hours at the White House -- he coordinating logistics for the president's travels, she serving as an assistant to an assistant to counselor Ed Gillespie.

Turns out the groom, Chris Ellis, is the son of the president's cousin, so his wedding to Rachel Williams is booked Saturday at the Bush family compound at Walker's Point in Kennebunkport, Me. Reporters covering the president's trip spotted a large white tent with multiple peaks on the lawn, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean where Bush 41 likes to moor out on his cigarette boat.

It's not Crawford, of course, where the president's daughter Jenna married at the presidential ranch last May. But it does explain why the president went up to Kennebunkport on Friday and plans to return to Camp David on Sunday to confer with visiting officials from oil-rich United Arab Emirates before leaving Monday on a lengthy overseas trip to Asia and the Beijing Olympics.
