Schwarzenegger Arrives

Schwarzenegger arrived about a half hour before the debate in his SUV convoy. His staff, all in dark suits, jumped out of the car and waited for him to work the crowd.

Angelides protesters booed from their protest area and yelled, "Si Se Puede." Schwarzenegger walked over to greet people holding his campaign signs and cheering. He walked up the steps and turned to wave as if he was boarding Marine One.

His side then yelled, "Viva Arnold," and the Angelides side yelled, "Veto Arnold."

Schwarzenegger's makeup and hair stylist followed him up the steps with a large black bag, a plastic brush sticking out of the side.
