Bonnie Garcia: I Wouldn't Kick Schwarzenegger Out of Bed

Bonniegarcia_4Perhaps being the center of one international story about Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't enough for Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia, the "hot-blooded" Republican who happily brushed off the governor's private meditation about her personality and Latina heritage.

Now Garcia is putting the moves on Schwarzenegger ... in front of high schools students. When asked about the governor, Garcia reportedly told a La Quinta High School class: "I wouldn't kick him out of my bed." That was after talking about how "built" Schwarzenegger is. The story in the Desert Sun:

"'I was appalled,' said Leah Aguilar, a classroom aide present during Garcia's impromptu visit to the economics class for seniors. 'I couldn't believe what was coming out of her mouth, that she was talking to students like this. Someplace else, maybe it would be appropriate.'

"Added fellow aide Kathy Larsen, 'I was surprised. It wasn't very appropriate. Even if she thought that, he is a married man ....'

"According to both Aguilar and Larsen, Garcia talked to the economics students about being an Assembly member and issues before the Legislature. She then invited students to ask her questions. One student asked her what the governor is like, according to Aguilar and Larsen.

"Garcia told the class Schwarzenegger is funny and likes to play chess on flights to and from Sacramento. But she then began to discuss the 'built' physique of the governor, followed by the remark about her bed, the aides said."

Garcia is already famous around the Capitol for proudly talking about her breasts on the floor of the Assembly. So I'm just going to assume this is Garcia being Garcia, and not some weird public flirtation we should all be worried about.

UPDATE: Garcia apologizes, then blames her opponent. Exactly like Schwarzenegger.
