what a monstrosity.
Truly hideous on the outside.
Ruined a perfectly good house.

since you mention he's a very nice man, then i hope he gets to fill his house with love, kids and parties. careful what you wish for on that mother-in-law thing though (wink)!

KPR: Yep, you're right. I think that was the wisdom behind the second story, a little more privacy. This guy is very family oriented. Each time I spoke with him he was either getting ready for a family gathering or had just had one. I think he'll make a great family man!

The article seems to stress his "wedding bell dreams" and desire to have a family, but neglects to report whether he's available or in a relationship.
I know it's the real estate section, but you can't tease us like that! :-)

KPR: You are so funny! I'm going to check on that for you!

I, too, would be interested in finding out if he is single! If so, I'd love to put my hat in the ring - I'm educated and a homeowner, too, so I'm not a gold digger! Oh, and I loved the article, too!

I like the fact that the addition is stepped back from the front - it makes it less overwhelming, despite the fact that it appears to double the original homes square footage.
I dislike the dormer treatment on the front - elements of the dormers should have lined up and echoed one another to avoid giving a choppy and unplanned look to the whole. What's with those two tiny windows on the left dormer?
