X Games: Shaun White qualifies last for snowboard slopestyle final

Shaun White finished eighth to barely qualify for Saturday's snowboard slopestyle final, but that's  somewhat misleading because most competitors struggled in blizzard conditions during Friday's qualifying session at Aspen's Buttermilk Mountain.

Chad Guldemond was the top qualifier with a score of 78. Defending champion Andreas Wiig qualified fourth. Failing to qualify were Kevin Pearce (last year's runner-up), Danny Davis and Mason Aguirre, who had a sore back and did not compete.

White, the last qualifier, earned a top score of 67.66.
