Evan Lysacek, Mirai Nagasu to be honored in El Segundo

Olympic men's figure skating champion Evan Lysacek and fourth-place women's finisher Mirai Nagasu of Arcadia will be honored at a reception Tuesday at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, where both trained leading up to the Vancouver Games.

The event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30. It's open to the public, with seating starting at 5:30 p.m. and being handled on a first-come, first-served basis. The address is 555 North Nash in El Segundo.

Olympic coaches Frank Carroll and Christa Fassi also will be honored during the reception, which will include presentations from city officials and a question-and-answer session for audience members to ask the skaters and coaches about their Olympic experiences.
