It looks as if the men’s downhill will take place as scheduled Monday at 10:30 a.m. after delays because of weather conditions. The bib draw was Sunday night, and Bode Miller of the U.S. drew bib No. 8.

The course had to be completely reworked from scratch because of rain. But the temperatures are now cold enough to make the course raceable.

FIS chief of race Guenther Hujara said if temperatures remain cold ‘then you will see a very good racecourse.’

Hujara said of course, ‘We tried to put this fragile thing together. Let’s cross our fingers and hope for good temperatures.’
