Katherine Reutter finishes fourth in women’s 1,500-meter short-track speedskating; Yang Zhou of China wins gold

Katherine Reutter (Champaign, Ill.) finished in fourth place in the women’s 1,500-meter short-track speedskating Saturday. Reutter earlier advanced from the semifinals when she was allowed to move on after crashing with China’s Meng Wang, who was disqualified.

Yang Zhou of China won the gold, Lee Eun-Byul of South Korea the silver and Park Seung-Hi the bronze.

Allison Baver (Sinking Spring, Pa.) failed to advance from the semifinals.
