Russian President Dmitry Medvedev hinted Wednesday that he’s considering attending the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.

According to reports from the ITAR-Tass and RIA Novosti news agencies, Medvedev was invited to watch the women’s snowboard finals by Russian Olympic Committee President Leonid Tyagachev. In response, Medvedev reportedly said, ‘It would be great to watch the ice hockey finals as well.’

The Russian men’s ice hockey team is among the favorites to win the gold medal.

Medvedev also suggested Russia could help Canadian Olympic officials deal with problems related to a lack of snow at certain venues.

‘We can deliver some from Sochi,’ he said, referring to the site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
