All four U.S. athletes advance in men's snowboard cross

Olyblog All four U.S. athletes advanced from the qualification round in men’s snowboard cross on Cypress Mountain on Monday.

Graham Watanabe (Sun Valley, Idaho) led the way for the Americans, posting a best time of 1:20.53 on his second run to place second behind Australia’s Alex Pullin.

Nick Baumgartner (Iron River, Mich.) had a 1:21.70, while Nate Holland (Squaw Valley, Calif.) posted a time of 1:21.78.

Seth Westcott (Sugarloaf, Maine) had a 1:22.87.

Next up is the first round, which begins at 2 p.m. PST, followed by the quarterfinals at 2:26 p.m., the semifinals at 2:42 p.m. and the finals at 2:53 p.m.
