Former Ducks defenseman Ruslan Salei, now with the Colorado Avalanche and recovering from back surgery, is among four NHL players named to the provisional roster of Belarus for the Vancouver Olympics hockey tournament.

Belarus was the first of the 12 participating teams to announce its roster. Russia will go next, on Friday, followed by defending champion Sweden on Sunday.

Salei, a hard-hitting defenseman, was named to his third Olympic team. Joining him from NHL teams are forward Mikhail Grabovsky of the Toronto Maple Leafs and brothers Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn of the Montreal Canadiens.
