This will be the first time the Olympics will be held in South America.

Now who is going to be the first knucklehead to suggest that the Chicago Olympic bid defeat led by the Obamas is racist?

Although I feel bad that Mr. Obama put himself out and it didn't pan out for Chicago, I have to say I am excited for the people of Rio and for Brazil. Latin America deserves a chance to host the games. Bottom line the US has hosted the games two times recently, it's time to spread the love. Go Rio!
