Shaky in warm-up ... solid in final?

August 19, 2008 |  3:21 am

Shawn Johnson BEIJING -- Bela Karolyi said he had a "good" feeling about Shawn Johnson's chances to win a gold medal on the balance beam tonight.

Johnson, who won three gold medals at last year's world championships -- team, individual all-around and floor exercise -- hasn't yet won gold here.

This is the last chance and Karolyi said that even though Johnson was a little "insecure" in her morning workout and that she is fighting her inner disappointments about losing the all-around final to teammate Nastia Liukin, Karolyi thinks Johnson will do well tonight.

Johnson has three Olympic silver medals so far -- team, all-around and floor exercise.
