U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps looks to extend his gold-medal-winning streak at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics in today’s 200-meter butterfly event. If the race follows the times in the semifinals, Phelps should start slow and contend for a medal with Japan’s Takeshi Matsuda, Russia’s Nikolay Skvortsov and Hungary’s Laszlo Cseh.
