Deena Kastor reportedly drops out of marathon
Deena Kastor has pulled out of the women’s marathon at the Beijing Olympics with an apparent foot injury, the Associated Press is reporting.
Kastor, the top U.S. runner in the field in Sunday’s race, dropped to one knee and held her right foot at about five kilometers into the race. She got up and tried to walk it off but dropped back down again and was forced to give up.
Kastor, 35, moved from eighth to third in the closing stages of the marathon in Athens to win the United States’ first Olympic marathon medal since 1984.

Well, this is the second time I am trying to enter this blog - I know there isn't a conspiracy.
How about the women's marathon? Did the Romanian win? Certainly she was well ahead of the pack which included the Chinese. But, did you see her pul somethin from her top at about the 1+07 mark and inhale it? How about the thing she puled from her bottom and ingested at the 1+40 mark? Or at the 2+07 mark her pulling her hand from her nose with her nostrals expanded as if she inhaled something again.
Now I hope the IOC has taken blood samples as well as urine to test for performance enhancing substances. While I hope what was taken was nothing, given past Olympic performances that were well beyond the pack, it was later discovered they were on some kind of drugs.
Let's put any doubt to rest and perform appropriate tests to ensure everything is on the up-and-up!
