Beach volleyball: Dalhausser and Rogers advance

BEIJING -- The U.S. men’s beach volleyball team of Phil Dalhausser of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Todd Rogers of Santa Barbara defeated Martin Conde and Mariano Baracetti of Argentina 21-12, 21-13 in Wednesday morning qualifying.
The Americans finished pool play with a record of 2-1 and will advance to the Round of 16 on Friday.
