Lisa Dillman, an L.A. Times staff writer since 1992, has covered swimming at the Summer Olympics three times, starting in Atlanta in 1996, breaking in with the likes of Gary Hall Jr. and Amanda Beard. She has watched Michael Phelps set world records from Indianapolis to Barcelona, Spain to Melbourne, Australia. This year, she covered every angle of the LZR swimsuit controversy.

Does it occur to anyone, that it is not possible to watch events LIVE in Los Angeles on NBC, I mean you cant see phelps win or any event, what is the point of NBC paying all that money and we see nothing in Los Angeles. Does anyone notice this. I bet they see it in china
