Kobe Bryant is named to U.S. Olympic team

As expected, the Lakers' Kobe Bryant was named to the 2008 U.S. Olympic basketball team this morning.

Joining him are the Denver Nuggests' Carmelo Anthony; Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz; the Toronto Raptors' Chris Bosh; Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic; the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James; Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks; Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets; the Detroit Pistons' Tayshaun Prince; Michael Redd of the Milwaukee Bucks; and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat.
