Mila Kunis attends Marine Corps birthday ball with sergeant

It began with a dare from fellow Marines serving in Afghanistan -- and culminated Friday night with Sgt. Scott Moore escorting actress Mila Kunis to a Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, N.C.

In June, Moore's buddies dared him to invite Kunis to a Marine Corps birthday bash via a YouTube video. Moore posted the video and hoped for the best. He was serving with the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, in the Taliban stronghold Helmand province.

"Take a second, think about it, and get back to me," Moore said on the video. "Bye, now."

Kunis, whose breakout role was on TV's "That '70s Show," thought about the invitation and accepted.

Reporters were kept away from Kunis, but a Marine spokesman said a good time was had by all celebrating the 236th birthday of the Marine Corps.
