Woman arrested in theft of Axl Rose's jewelry in Paris
Authorities have recovered $200,000 in jewelry stolen from Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose after a concert in Paris, according to Agence France-Presse. The gold necklaces and diamonds were taken during a post-show party Tuesday night where the band played an intimate set. On Wednesday, a woman returned the items to French police and was arrested, AFP reported.
According to police sources, the woman, a young model, was not sure how she had come to leave with the jewelry, AFP reported. Rose's management did not return a request for comment.
Rose, 50, is in the middle of a Guns N' Roses European tour that has taken him and the band to the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, and which continues in Germany on Friday before returning to France for six additional dates.
