Let the Internet scouring begin: After the final wave of tickets to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival went on sale this morning, the whole thing is now sold out. As the festival noted in a pithy one-sentence news release and Facebook post, tickets for both weekends, including all packages at every price point, are gone. The message at Coachella’s Facebook page went up at approximately 12:57 p.m. PST: ‘Coachella 2012 sold out.’ Which means that those stragglers who put off buying tickets must now start trolling the secondary market.

Already Craigslist is offering at least 161 different options for grabbing a ticket. Many of these seem to be fans who snagged what they could in the hopes of swapping one weekend for the other, but be aware, others are looking to swap a counterfeit stack of $100 bills for your legit ticket -- or vice versa.

The far-safer StubHub site offers a handful of options starting at $400 per ticket, a price certain to go up as April approaches.

For those slow on the draw, well, take solace in the knowledge that you don’t have to writhe in agony while waiting for the standby page to refresh anymore.
