Just think -- all this time Ice Cube could have been designing your house or workplace. But instead he tried his luck at rapping.

He revealed his passion for architecture -- and his appreciation of husband-and-wife design team Charles and Ray Eames -- in a promotional video for the ongoing art celebration Pacific Standard Time that our arts blog, Culture Monster, unearthed on Wednesday.

In the video, Cube cruises around and shows “the good, the bad and the ugly” about the L.A. that he knows, including the Watts Towers and the Eames House in Pacific Palisades. The rapper-actor-producer also shared that he studied architectural drafting before he launched his successful rap career.

Check out the video after the jump (mild Ice Cube-style language warning). It will appear on on the PST website on Thursday.
