With its much-anticipated Trent Reznor score, electronica fans are hotly awaiting the release of David Fincher’s version of ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.’ Now, they have an extra reason to quit with the hackathons and hit the dance floor. The megastar DJ Deadmau5 and LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy will spin a free show Saturday at the Hollywood Palladium to celebrate the film’s launch, in collaboration with the dance-festival staple HARD.

Billed as ‘HARD X Mouth Taped Shut,’ the bill also includes Proxy and Eye, and marks the tenative return to live appearances of Murphy, who closed out LCD Soundsystem’s live career with a set at Madison Square Garden in April. Tickets are free but must be reserved at hardfest.com. A good dance party trumps slogging through 50 introductory pages on the Swedish political system in the ‘Dragon Tattoo’ book.
