Das Racist wants you to 'Relax' at the Roxy tonight
Today's Calendar has a profile of the Brooklyn-based hip-hop trio Das Racist, known for its hilarious and biting satirical raps on how race is lived in today's America. Though it broke through with the exquisitely mindless blog hit "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell," the group's first proper full-length, "Relax," marks a genuine try at writing for mainstream rap and pop audiences without losing its edge. Das Racist will test the limits of white guilt at the Roxy tonight.
