Dublab celebrates 12 years Saturday

Dublab

According to anniversary tradition, the 12th year of matrimony is supposed to invite gifts of silk. So maybe it's a bit of a drag that Dublab didn't dedicate their dozen-year gala to the acts on the local and excellent 100% Silk imprint.

Otherwise, it's impossible to quibble with the lineup that the venerable nonprofit has assembled for its Happening this Saturday night at Atwater Crossing in Atwater Village. The lineup includes local underground staples Daedelus, Teebs, Take, Julia Holter and SFV Acid, plus Stones Throw's newest vaunted artist, Jonti. A set from Kutmah will be beamed in from London. Admission is a donation of $10, and there will be films, food trucks and funk all evening long.

Below, Pop & Hiss is premiering a Dublab Film Flash created by Overture.
