Sunny War does Sam Cooke's 'A Change Is Gonna Come'

Sunny War does Sam Cooke

Ah, sweet circumstance. During a morning YouTube browse, we stumbled across this version of Sam Cooke's classic, "A Change Is Gonna Come," as performed by the young Venice-based singer and guitarist Sunny War. The song was just uploaded Thursday, so we're presuming it's fresh.

Those not familiar with the young singer haven't been hanging in Venice, where she often performs on the streets, though she's also gradually rising on the touring circuit. She recently performed dates with singer-guitarist Keb Mo.

But all that info is relatively extraneous once you hit the "play" button below -- and you really should listen to this exquisite rendering of a perfect song.

Can someone please tell us why Sunny War isn't famous?
