Summer is drawing to a close, and the ‘Today’ show and ‘Good Morning America’ concluded their respective annual summer concert series on Friday with Lenny Kravitz and Mary J. Blige.

In a summer jam-packed with performances from Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Cee Lo Green, Bruno Mars, Journey and Florence & the Machine, both shows looked toward music veterans to close out the series. Rocker Kravitz hit the ‘Today’ show, while R&B queen Blige hit the ‘Good Morning America’ stage.

Both treated crowds to fan favorites from their expansive back catalogs and singles from their respective new releases -- Kravitz’s ‘Black And White America’ was released Tuesday, and Blige’s ‘My Life II ... The Journey Continues (Act I)’ is set for a fall release.
