Katy Perry premieres '80s-inspired video for 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)'

Katy Perry took it to the '80s for the video to her new single, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).”

In the Marc Klasfeld-directed clip the singer does her best to pay tribute to the coming-of-age teen flicks that made John Hughes a legend among angst-ridden high schoolers. Naturally this means some very campy acting, a makeover and an out-of-hand house party while Mom and Dad are away.

Perry introduces her alter ego Kathy Beth Terry, a braces-and-bifocals smartypants who longs to be the popular girl and gets a makeover courtesy of Rebecca Black (this girl is really stretching those 15 minutes).

The cameo-filled mini-movie also stars “Glee’s” Darren Criss and Kevin McHale, Corey Feldman, Hanson, Debbie Gibson and Kenny G.

I loved it! I'm ready for more Katy Perry movies with her alter-ego.

Awwwful! Just like everything Katy Perry. And Ms. Black? She is a 13 year old KID

u can tell the video is edited alot cuz when rebecca opens the door she is still sitting on the sofa...LOL this video is astounding!

It's so sad that somebody leaks Katy's LFN video.

@RuRu -- Great catch on the continuity error. I watched a few times and continued to laugh.
