The kind of people who would skip Coachella because they perceive one of the performers to be a "loudmouth" (and not because the entire lineup as a whole blows massive orca dick) are ironically the exact same kind of people who would be thrilled to see such shitty milquetoast acts as Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, and the Strokes.
The REAL reason not to go is because the lineup is boring garbage besides Lightning Bolt, Ariel Pink, and the insuperable Big Audio Dynamite.
This year is slated to be an even more outrageous douchefest than last year's Jay-Z oriented throng of meatheads -- can somebody somewhat cool with reasonable taste please start a new festival now? Kthxbyeeeee

I don't understand why people judge people in such angles, just because a man expresses his opinion (maybe not at the right time), you relate it to his work, work and life are different, you might call him all sort of things but he gets the job done, and that's what matters.Personally i would want to see him,He brought out the best album i have heard in a long time,in a time when people don't purchase albums a lot, and rely too much on singles to judge. Everyone should stop being naive, you persecute him for voicing out, for judging him and here you are judging as well- how hypocritical, your all naive, stop listening on how the media likes to media paint people, what he does is not new, there have been people who have done far worst and you all still buy their album and listen to their songs. If you have a problem with a normal human behavior and think celebrities should be perfect and all of them should be nice-which is a stupid thought to begin with, then you have issues. Why the hell do people listen to Amy Whinehouse, when she is Crack addict,Why don't you think she is a bad role-model ,at least kanye told people to stand up for yourself weather your on your own with it,because on that night of the"Am a let u finish" incident he wasn't the only one that had a problem with the award ceremony, but none of them had the balls to stand up against it.All in all your not going to the show to hear him rant or read on his personal life, your there to listen to great music for assortment of great music, go there and have fun, and stop worrying of trivia things, like attitude problems.its daft. PERIOD.

This lineup is sick, sick meaning good, and diverse, and well good. It's still hard to fathom that people walk around with disgust and distaste for one person for so long. Learn from Taylor Swift and let it go. If not, than you're being just like whatever you're describing. Jokingly, you guys are pulling a "Kanye." :-) Lame!
Either way music is an art and comes in many diverse ways. This is a great lineup! Thanks Coachella!

the funny thing is I only hear complaints about the bands in the big print. do you people not realize theres like 40-50 other bands playing each day?? do some research before and you'll be sure to find new bands you like.
Like The Aquabats, classic ska and they put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen. or The Swell Season great singer-songwriter folk. Wire and Off! fantastic old school punk bands. read the fine print theres a bunch of bands at this festival, find some you like.

IT seems like, as usual, people are just hating Kanye West to hate him and like Kanyesnotspoilingmyfun said one guy should not ruin your whole experience it is somewhat childish the way people are reacting.

Coachella is supposed to be about diverse line ups. If you don't like diversity, then stay home or go visit your crappy local neighborhood strip mall instead of having a great experience with people from all over the world.
You may not like Kanye, but he is the most likely person to have great surprise guests during his set.

Kanye West is an artistic genius, best album of the year, more brilliant songs per square inch than many of those others combined, and his shows now are brilliantly performed. Get off the rock-chauvinism and give good music the chance it deserves... I'm going!!!

They need to get The Smiths reunited...Personally, I dont think Kanye belongs there...his jiberish rymes and pompous attitude, just irks me..let your music speak for itself, dont beg for greatness or for an audience..let it happen...glad to see BAD reuniting...good bad..

Who is radiohead who is wilco, who is flogging Molly. People talking down about Kanye he's the only big time performer on the list i see (GENIUS) And the list of songs he said he going to perform, most arent singels and most are his best songs ever. Well nevermind there is Nas and Damien Marley, and Kings of Loen. OH WAIT THEY GOT BRANDON FLOWERS AND LAURYN HILL!!! CEE LO GREEN, RATATAT, AND WIZ KHALIFA. All the ignorant people who dont even listen to Kanye West's classic Grammy Award winning albums, and dont want there tickets, can give them to me, it would be highly appreciated. anyway most of you are talking about him and are going to go the show anyway. mabye if see him live and dont boo him you'll aprreciate him live. And consider yourself blessed to see the Legendary LAURYN HILL perform. Bottom line is pull your head out of your butts grow up and enjoy the music.
I know you guys are going to be mad when Kanye wins a Grammy for MBDTF next year. HAHAHA get over it people didnt like Michael Jackson either.
