Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino teams with Go! Team for pop gem 'Buy Nothing Day'

A few weeks after her triumphant two-night stint at the Troubadour, Bethany Cosentino of L.A.'s Best Coast has dropped another gem. Well, she didn't drop it; British dance-pop band the Go! Team released the song, called "Buy Nothing Day," as a teaser for its upcoming album, "Rolling Blackouts."

You can listen above. It's beefier and more dense than much of Best Coast's music, and the heavy-duty Phil Spector-ish backbeat makes it perfect for the dance floor. But there's no mistaking Cosentino's sticky voice. (Via the Guardian)
