Unlike the Academy Awards, the Grammys get the tape-delayed treatment, and that doesn’t change when it comes to revealing the nominations. West Coast audiences will have to wait until 10 p.m. to see tonight’s Grammy nominations concert on CBS, but never fear, Pop & Hiss will have live coverage.

So keep your browsers tuned straight to http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/pophiss throughout the night (please? I’m nice. Cats like me). The Grammy bonanza starts at 7 p.m., airing live from downtown’s Club Nokia for lucky Midwesterners and East Coasters.

Performers include Katy Perry, Miranda Lambert and B.o.B., and Pop & Hiss will bring you insta-analysis of the categories announced on the telecast as well as the major fields. Unless, of course, John Mayer’s ‘Battle Studies’ scores an album of the year nod. There will be no justification for those kinds of shenanigans.
