Here’s a little ditty for those of you who remain confused by the many California ballot measures coming up for a vote in the upcoming Nov. 2 election. Broadcast Thursday morning for a KPCC-FM (89.3) segment during NPR’s ‘Morning Edition,’ ‘The Proposition Song’ was penned and sung by Kim Alexander, president of the California Voters Assn.

‘It’s nonpartisan, and it’s hopefully educational and entertaining,’ Alexander told KPCC’s Alex Cohen. ‘So it has to be a lot of things at once and, most importantly, it has to be short and sweet. There’s only so long you can hold someone’s attention with this kind of a gimmick.’
